Shri Onkarprasad Tandon Scholarship

Shri Onkarprasad Tandon Scholarship was instituted in the year 2020 and is open to all B.Tech students. The scholarship amount is Rs. 1 lakh per student per year and is awarded to one B.Tech student every year in order to support internships (international or domestic), special projects and opportunities, financial needs, etc. B.Tech students with a minimum CPI of 6.5 are eligible.

Akhilesh Gotmare is a B.Tech alumnus of 2016 batch with a major in Electrical Engineering and a minor in Computer Science and Engineering. He pursued his Masters in Computer Science at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in Lausanne, Switzerland. He is currently working as a Machine Learning Researcher with Salesforce Research in Singapore. He has instituted this scholarship in honor of his late maternal grandfather, Shri Onkarprasad Tandon.
