Daya Shanker & Shakuntala Scholarship

Daya Shanker & Shakuntala Scholarship was instituted in the year 2020 and is open to all B.Tech students. The scholarship amount is Rs. 1 lakh per student per year and is awarded to one B.Tech student every year in order to support internships (international or domestic), special projects and opportunities, financial needs, etc. B.Tech students with a minimum CPI of 6.5 are eligible.

Akash Keshav Singh is a B.Tech alumnus of 2015 batch with a major in Mechanical Engineering. He is currently associated with Arista Networks, Pune as a Business Development Executive. He is actively involved with the Competitiveness Mind-set as Director of Development. In his academic tenure at IIT Gandhinagar, he was the General Secretary of the Student Council and led Nyasa, a social organization of education of underprivileged kids at IITGN. He has instituted this scholarship in honor of his parents, Mrs. Shakuntala and Mr. Daya Shanker.
