Dr Bibha Jha Memorial Scholarship

Dr Bibha Jha Memorial Scholarship has been instituted in the year 2024 by Mrs Seema Jha, and is open to all UG (BTech) students. The scholarship amount is Rs. 1 lakh per student per year and is awarded to one UG (BTech) student every year in order to support internships (international or domestic), special projects and opportunities, financial needs, etc. UG (BTech) students with a minimum CPI of 6.5 are eligible.

Mrs Seema Jha is a post graduate in Physics and currently working as a teacher for the last ten years. She has been focusing on social work in the field of education for under-privileged class and a trustee, and co-founded Samridhdhi trust [https://samridhdhi.org/]. Samridhdhi has over the years touched the lives of thousands of under-privileged students in getting formal school & college education and transforming their lives. She lives in Bangalore with her family. Dr Bibha Jha Memorial Scholarship is instituted by her in memory of her late mother, Dr Bibha Jha.

Dr Bibha Jha was an esteemed educator and Ph.D in Aurobindo Philosophy. She was a principal at Indian School of Learning, Dhanbad. She is remembered as a vibrant, caring and spiritual individual, who left for her heavenly abode in Jan 2024.

The scholarship of Rs. 1 Lakh per year would support the undergraduate students for their financial needs, funding internships (international or domestic), or special projects and opportunities, etc.
