Sugunamma and Sarojamma Scholarship

Sugunamma and Sarojamma Scholarship has been instituted in the year 2024 by Mr Manikanta Mandlem, and is open to all UG (BTech) students. The scholarship amount is Rs. 1 lakh per student per year and is awarded to one UG (BTech) student every year in order to support internships (international or domestic), special projects and opportunities, financial needs, etc. UG (BTech) students with a minimum CPI of 6.5 are eligible.

Mr Manikanta Mandlem is a BTech Electrical Engineering graduate of the Class of 2019. After graduating from IITGN, he pursued his MS in Computer Engineering from Northwestern University, USA. He currently works as a Data Scientist at CCC Intelligent Solutions, USA. ‘Sugunamma and Sarojamma Scholarship’ is instituted by him in honor of his paternal grandmother, Sugunamma and maternal grandmother, Sarojamma. Their unwavering love and support have been the foundation for Manikanta's success. The scholarship of Rs. 1 Lakh per year would support the undergraduate students for their financial needs, funding internships (international or domestic), or special projects and opportunities, etc.
