Research Interests

  • ● Reduce uncertainties in the biogeochemical cycles, ecology, and hydrology, especially for periods in the Earth’s past.
  • ● Climate-Tectonic relationship in sedimentary basins.
  • ● Tectonic-geomorphic relationship to ecological evolution in a sedimentary system.
  • ● Use of trace and REEs in paleoenvironmental reconstructions.
  • ● Understanding the paleodepositional conditions through the use of specific non-isotopic biomarkers.
  • ● Determining the distribution of organic carbon in different terrestrial systems and development of suitable organic proxies.
