IITGN invites expressions of interest from eminent academics, scholars, and professionals worldwide for short or long term assignments to teach and undertake collaborative research at IITGN. The institute is open to applications from every discipline and every region of the world.

Visiting faculty at junior and senior levels for semester or longer commitments.

VISITING PROFESSORS

Visiting faculty are sought at the level of visiting assistant professor, visiting associate professor, visiting professor, and visiting faculty, for semester or longer commitments. Visiting faculty typically teach courses at the institute, most commonly during the regular semester, but also occasionally half-semester courses that typically last two months. Visiting faculty receive a consolidated monthly honorarium, travel expenses, furnished accommodation (at cost), access to guest and institutional dining services, office space and access to the institute’s library facilities.

RESIDENCE

Outstanding teachers, researchers, and scholars from India and abroad are invited to spend from a few weeks to a few months at IITGN.

SCHOLARS IN RESIDENCE

Outstanding teachers, researchers and scholars from India and abroad are invited to spend from a few months to a year at IITGN. The hosted scholars may utilize the opportunity to work on manuscripts, develop research ideas or collaborative research proposals with IITGN faculty, conduct workshops or conferences, or help develop curricula for new courses and programmes. The scholars receive a monthly honoraria, travel expenses, rent-free accommodation, access to guest and institutional dining services, office space and access to its library facilities.

Eminent engineers, managers, and professionals from reputed industries are invited to engage with students and faculty at IITGN.

Eminent engineers, managers, and professionals from reputed industries are invited to engage with students and faculty at IITGN in overlapping areas of interest; pursue projects and internships; curriculum development and other collaborative activites. The associates receive travel expenses, rent-free accommodation, access to guest and institutional dining services, office space, access to its library facilities and a daily honorarium.
