Step by step guide to book sample analysis slot

1. Log on to https://iitgn.ac.in/cif/
2. Click on “Usage charges” tab to know the usage charges for the instrument that you want to avail for analysis of your samples. Estimate the total analysis charges that you need to pay for your samples and add 18% GST to it.
3. Make payment in favor of “IIT Gandhinagar Project & Consultancy Account” through the online transaction (NEFT). Please note that payment should include analysis charges + 18% GST. Details of IITGN bank account are available at https://iitgn.ac.in/cif/booking.php
4. Note down the “Online Transaction ID” as you will need to provide while filling up the “Facility Booking Form”. You will not be able to book analysis slot unless you provide “Online Transaction ID”.
5. Click on “Book Sample Analysis Slot” to access “Facility Booking Form”. Fill up all the requested information and submit it.
6. Please fill separate sample analysis request form for each instrument/facility that you want to use.
7. You will soon receive an email from CIF-IITGN regarding the sample analysis slot. If you wish to be present during the sample analysis, please inform us by replying to the email. If you wish to send samples for analysis by courier, please note down the address provided at https://iitgn.ac.in/cif/booking.php
8. If you are coming to IITGN during the slot provided to you for sample analysis, please bring the duly filled “Sample Analysis Request Form”. You can mail it along with your samples if you are sending your samples through courier. These forms are available at https://iitgn.ac.in/cif/booking.php .
