Shri Harsh Bhargava President Bankworld Incorporated USA

Shri Bhargava is currently the President of Bankworld Inc, a prominent Washington DC based Management Consulting company with experience in over 75 countries including projects on competitiveness strengthening in the emerging markets, entrepreneurship and youth, and access to finance to micro small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Prior to that as the Vice President (International Division) of a US Corporation, he set up businesses in over 60 countries and was awarded US President's E Award for excellence in international business. Shri Bhargava is also the Founder and the President of I Create Inc, a nonprofit corporation with 20 centers in India and one in Kenya. I Create has provided its highly acclaimed and practical grassroots entrepreneurship programs for the rural and urban women and unemployed youth, numbering over 50,000. Shri Bhargava has personally taught courses in starting, expanding and managing businesses at the Iacocca Institute, Lehigh University and the Wharton School in the US, and has been invited to speak at global conferences and events and institutions including IIT. He has been written up and interviewed in a number of TV shows and newspapers including the New York Times. He has written extensively on entrepreneurship as a career option for youth, and created training manuals and books on financial literacy and entrepreneurship training. He is originally from India and worked as a Tata Administrative Service officer with Tata Motors before coming to the USA. Shri Bhargava is an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Prof. Pratim Biswas Chairman of the Department of Energy Washington University St. Louis, USA

Prof. Biswas is the Chairman of the Department of Energy, Environmental & Chemical Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis. He has won several teaching and research awards including the recipient of the 1991 Kenneth Whitby Award given for outstanding contributions by the American Association for Aerosol Research and the Neil Wandmacher Teaching Award of the College of Engineering in 1994. He was elected a Fellow of the Academy of Science, St. Louis in 2003, and a Fellow of the American Association for Aerosol Research in 2009. He has received the Distinguished Alumni Award from IIT Bombay in 2011; and the Distinguished Faculty Award from Washington University in 2012. Prof. Biswas has played a leading role at the National and International arena in the field of Aerosol Science and Technology by serving on several National Committees. He is a member of the Steering Committee of the McDonnell International Scholars Academy, and an Ambassador to the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Prof. Biswas is also the Director of the McDonnell Academy Global Energy & Environment Partnership (MAGEEP) and a member of the Steering Committee for I-CARES (International Center for Advanced Renewable Energy & Sustainability). He is playing a leading role in advancing the state of art research in promoting Energy and Environmental areas, with a key role in establishing consortia such as CCCU (Consortium for Clean Coal Utilization) and SERIIUS (Solar Energy Research Institute for India and US). Prof. Biswas obtained his B. Tech from IIT Bombay, M.S from University of California and Ph. D from California Institute of Technology, USA.

Prof. Nitesh Chawla Frank Freimann Collegiate Chair and Director of the Interdisciplinary Center for Network Science and Applications (iCeNSA) and Data Inference Analytics and Learning Lab (DIAL) University of Notre Dame University of Notre Dame, USA

Prof. Nitesh Chawla is the Frank Freimann Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Director of the Interdisciplinary Center for Network Science and Applications (iCeNSA), a University Research Institute, and Data Inference Analytics and Learning Lab (DIAL), at the University of Notre Dame, USA. He started his tenure-track position at Notre Dame in 2007, was promoted and tenured in 2011, and received the chaired position in 2012. Prior to Notre Dame, he was a Senior Risk Modeling Manager at CIBC. His research is focused on machine learning, data mining, and network science. He is at the frontier of interdisciplinary applications with innovative work in healthcare informatics, social networks, analytics, and climate/environmental sciences. He was recently awarded the IBM Watson Faculty Award in recognition of his work in Big Data and Analytics. He is also the recipient of multiple awards for research and teaching innovation including outstanding teacher awards (2007 and 2010), National Academy of Engineers, New Faculty Fellowship, and number of best paper awards and nominations. Shri Ajai Chowdhry Former Chairman HCL Infosystems Ltd He is currently teaching entrepreneurship at IIT Hyderabad and has also been appointed as Chairman of IIT-Patna

Shri Ajai Chowdhry, a founder member of HCL, has been one of the key forces in leading HCL, India's original IT garage start-up founded in 1976, Rs 38,000 crores (US $6.5 bn) to a global enterprise. He led the foundation of HCL's overseas operations, starting with Singapore in 1980s and later expanded to the other South Asian Markets. Mr. Chowdhry, has also been a key force in driving the growth of HCL Infosystems, the flagship company of the group. He took over the reins of HCL Infosystems in early 90s and became the Chairman of the company in 1999. Mr. Ajai Chowdhry has constantly been driving a vision of "IT for the masses" and has been on several Government committees working towards taking PC and broadband into every village in India. He is the Chairman of the Electronics Skills Council and Member of the Scientific Advisory Committee to Cabinet (SAC - C). Mr Chowdhry is also currently the Co-Chairman of the Working Group for Development of Innovation and IP in the ESDM sector. In 2011, Mr Ajai Chowdhry was conferred with the prestigious Padma Bhushan, one of the highest civilian honours, as recognition of his consistent contribution in building the IT industry of the nation. He has also received several prestigious awards including Dataquest "IT person of the year 2007", Electronics Man of the year by ELCINA-EFY for the year 2010, CNBC Asia Business Award 2010, India Innovator of the Year Award at the 6th edition of CNBC TV18 India Business Leader Awards 2010, Cybermedia Business ICT Award 2013 for Lifetime Achievement in ICT by Shri Narendra Modi in 2014, in August 2014, he has been awarded Honoris Causa (D.Sc.) by the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design & Manufacturing, Jabalpur in recognition of the significant contribution he has made to the Indian IT industry and thought leadership in the field. Presently, Mr. Chowdhry is focusing on incubating entrepreneurship by aiding start-ups. He continues to give back to the society through his in-depth experience and understanding of the industry. Shri Dwivedi has successfully led technology organizations through all these transformational vectors and change vortices. He has led global technology organizations in more than fifteen countries in North and South Americas, Europe, Australia, Asia and Africa. Mr. Sarthak Jain is a graduate of the first batch of IIT Gandhinagar. He was the recipient of the Directors Gold Medal for outstanding overall performance. While he was in college, he along with 3 of his batch mates started a company called GridAnts. The company has received international acclaim and investments from Silicon Valley investors and the 2 top VC firms in India Accel Partners and Helion Venture Partners. GridAnts is building software that will enable to devices to seamlessly communicate with each other. They have a vision to do for the Internet of Things what Microsoft did for PCs.

Shri Sushil Kapoor President and CEO Technical Textiles Business, SRF, Ltd.

Shri Sushil Kapoor is a Mechanical Engineer from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi and has been with the SRF Group for over three decades. During the course of his association with the group he has worked for diverse industries such as Auto Electricals, Fluro Chemicals and Technical Textiles. He has been instrumental in establishing TQM practices in the Technical Textile Business, and during his leadership it led to the Industrial Synthetic Business winning the prestigious Deming Award in 2004. Over the last 15 years in his association with Technical Textiles, he has modernized the business and through a combination of brownfield expansions and acquisitions built a global footprint for Tyrecord and Belting Fabric Businesses. In the last couple of years, under his leadership, the business has diversified into Laminated and Coated Fabrics, where the company holds leadership position in the country. He has been keenly involved with the development of Technical Textile in India and through his association with various Industry bodies been advocating the need for appropriate framework for the Industry so that India could emerge as an important Global player, given its engineering ability.

Shri Sanjay S Lalbhai is the Chairman and Managing Director of the Arvind Mills Pvt. Ltd. Prior to assuming this responsibility, he was the Sector Head for Cracker, Polymer and Chemicals since the inception. He holds a Chemical Engineering Degree from University of Utah, USA and initially, he worked with USI Chemical Company. Upon returning to India Mr. Nanavaty joined Indian Petrochemicals Corporation Limited. In 1989 Shri. Nanavaty moved to Reliance Industries Limited to set up the Polymers and Chemicals business at Reliance. Prof. Surendra Prasad Former Director Indian Institute of Technology Delhi He is currently a member of the Board of Governors of IIT Gandhinagar.

Prof. Prasad has held many responsible positions in his illustrious career at IIT Delhi. He has been its Director, Deputy Director, and Dean of Undergraduate Studies. He was a Visiting Research fellow at the Loughborough University of Technology, Loughborough, UK from 1976 to 1977 and was a visiting faculty at the Pennsylvania State University, USA. Dr. Prasad has received numerous awards and honors during his career viz. the Vikram Sarabhai Research Award in 1987 and the Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize for Engineering Sciences in 1988. He is a Fellow, Indian National Sciences Academy of Engineering; Fellow, Indian National Science Academy, and Fellow, Indian Academy of Sciences, Bangalore. He is currently a member of the Board of Governors of IIT Gandhinagar.

Prof. Indira Rajaraman Member of the 13th Finance Commission Member of the 13th Finance Commission, New Delhi New Delhi

Prof. Indira Rajaraman holds a PhD in Economics from Cornell University. She has taught at Delhi University; the Indian Institute of Management (Bangalore); University of Illinois (Urbana-Champaign); and the Indian Statistical Institute (Delhi). Her research papers span a wide range of development economics issues in fiscal policy, formal and informal financial institutions, and exchange rates and trade. She was a Member of the Thirteenth Finance Commission and of several committees that have shaped the process of financial and fiscal reform over the last two decades. She has been a regular columnist in the Indian financial press since 2001. She was a Member of the Board of Directors of the General Insurance Corporation (1997-2001), and is presently Member, Central Board of Directors, Reserve Bank of India (2011-2015) and Member, Technical Advisory Committee on Monetary Policy.

Prof .V. S. Raju was the Director of IIT Delhi during 1995 - 2000. During his academic career of 42 years, his other responsibilities include Member (Part Time), Telecom Regulatory Authority of India; Professor, Head and Dean at IIT Madras between 1970 to 1994 and 2000 to 2003. He was extensively involved in academics, sponsored research and consultancy. He coordinated major R&D projects on Ocean Energy: Wave, OTEC, Tidal. He was Chairman, Naval Research Board; Chairman, Research Council - Central Road Research Institute (CRRI) and Member of several Boards and Committees dealing with Technical Education and Research in the country. He is a Fellow of the Indian National Academy of Engineering and was its Honorary Secretary. The Federal Republic of Germany honoured him with the Commander's Cross, the highest award given to a foreigner. He was also on the Boards of companies including Bharti Airtel, Nagarjuna Construction Company and Satyam Computer Services. As Professor and Head of Ocean Engineering Centre at IITM, he played a significant role in advancing the Ocean related activities. He was a member of the Governing Council of National Institute of Ocean Technology, Research Council of National Institute Oceanography and various bodies of Department of Ocean Development. Foundation Consultant for over 300 projects including major projects like Power Stations, Fertilizer Projects, Port Structures, Dams, Metros, etc., all over India and some abroad. He continues to be an active Foundation Consultant. He has obtained his BE (Civil) from Andhra University, ME from Indian Institute of Science and Doctorate from University of Karlsruhe, Germany. During 2003 to 2007 he was a Lead Partner in Byrraju Foundation which adopted 155 villages in 5 districts of Andhra Pradesh. He was responsible for Safe Drinking Water and Livelihoods. Currently, he is active in enhancing the quality of Higher Education in the country, helping Institutions such as IIT Gandhinagar, Mandi, Jodhpur, Madras; and others.

Prof. Akshai Runchal President Analytic & Computational Research Inc California, USA

Prof. Akshai Runchal initiated the CFD Virtual Reality Institute (CFDVRi), Dharamsala, a registered non-profit institute in Himachal Pradesh. He also established ACRi group of companies that have provided advanced technology CFD Simulation and Modeling services to a number of international clients in the US, Europe and India since 1979. Prof. Runchal started his professional career as a faculty member at IIT Kanpur 1969. He has taught at a number of leading institutes including IIT Kanpur, Imperial College, London, Cal Tech, Pasadena and University of California, Los Angeles. Prof. Runchal obtained his Ph.D from Imperial College in 1969. He was a key member of a small group of 3 persons led by Prof. D. Brain Spalding that invented the Finite Volume Method (FVM) of CFD in mid- 1960's.

Shri Sahu is currently working as Principal Secretary (Industries & Mines), Government of Gujarat. He has served in numerous important positions including as Vice Chairman & Managing Director of Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation, Gandhinagar. As additional Chief Executive Officer of Gujarat State Disaster Management Authority, Mr Sahu played a key role in highly acclaimed reconstruction and rehabilitation programme after the 2001 Bhuj earthquake in Gujarat. Prof. Dheeraj Sanghi is currently Professor of Computer Science and Engineering and the Dean of Academic Affairs at IIT Kanpur. From 2008 - 2010, he served as the Director, LNM Institute of Information Technology (LNMIIT), a public-private partnership University in Jaipur. His administrative experience includes running the Institute Computer Center, managing Graduate Admissions, cultural advisor to students, Student Counselling, managing UG education at IIT Kanpur (as Chairman of Senate Under Graduate Committee), design of CS curriculum, and Chairman of Health Center Users Committee. Shri Bhupen Shah has over 25 years of experience in technology development, product development, and engineering management in embedded digital media and communication solutions at Sling Media Inc., Emuzed, Dazzle, RealChip, Philips Semiconductors, IBM and others. Over his career, Bhupen has on four occasions successfully exited the companies he co-founded or joined at early stage. He has successfully built cost-effective India-based development organizations several times. Besides being a serial entrepreneur, Bhupen is also an angel investor and has funded several companies, most of them started by Indian entrepreneurs. Shri Bhupen co-founded Sling Media Inc., and as COO & VP Engineering, was instrumental in bringing award-winning Slingbox products into retail market. He was instrumental in establishing a development centre in Bangalore focused on developing consumer products for worldwide market. Sling Media was acquired by Echostar in 2007. At the time of exiting, Bhupen held the CTO position at Sling Media. Prior Sling Media, Bhupen co-founded Emuzed Inc. focused on mobile multimedia, with a large engineering team in Bangalore. Emuzed was acquired by Flextronics. Bhupen was also a key contributor and VP of Software at Dazzle, the first company to deliver video capture devices for the consumer market at retail. Dazzle was acquired by SCM Microsystems. Currently, Bhupen is on the Board of Directors of several start-ups as well as rapid-growth companies and advises them on business growth strategy and on how to harness technology for their operations. Bhupen holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

Mr. Kaip Sridhar is the Managing Director of Ricoh Innovations Private Limited, subsidiary and design center of Ricoh Innovations Inc, California. In this role, Sridhar is responsible spearheading Ricoh Innovations operations in India. With a vast experience spanning over 22 years, Sridhar has been able to chart an excellent track record of managing business and providing strategic direction to the technical teams. His technical skills include conceptualizing and creating complete product suite from defining a new product, architecting, developing algorithms and developing Mix signal ICs with complete systems and software. Sridhar acquired most of his experience by spending over a decade organizations such as at Arcus Technologies, Insilica and Sage Design Systems in various capacities from Project Manager to Director, Engineering. Tiwari served as the Managing Director at Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals Limited during July 14, 2011 to May 2, 2013. Prof. Satish K. Tripathi President State University of New York Buffalo, USA

Prof. Satish K. Tripathi serves as President of the University at Buffalo. An internationally recognized computer scientist, Prof. Tripathi joined UB as Provost - the university's chief academic officer - on July 1, 2004, after serving as Dean of the Bourns College of Engineering at the University of California, Riverside. He was one of the creators of the UB 2020 strategic plan to achieve academic and research excellence. Prior to joining UC Riverside in 1997, he was a professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Maryland, where his 19 years as a faculty member included being chair from 1988 -1995. He was a visiting professor at the University of Paris-Sud in France and the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg in Germany while at the University of Maryland. He has published more than 200 papers and supervised more than 30 Doctoral and Postdoctoral student. He is a fellow of the IEEE and the American Association for the Advancement of Science. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Buffalo Urban League. Prof. Tripathi is the first international-born president in UB's history, a fitting distinction for one of the most international universities in the U.S. In addition to a doctorate in computer science earned from the University of Toronto in 1979, he holds three master's degrees, one in computer science from the University of Toronto (1976) and two in statistics from the University of Alberta (1974) and Banaras Hindu University (1970). He was awarded an Honorary Doctorate degree from IIIT Allahabad.
