IIT Gandhinagar has setup a faculty chair through a donation by Gujarat Council on Science and Technology (GUJCOST)
The Vikram Sarabhai Chair at IIT Gandhinagar has been established by Gujarat Council on Science and Technology (GUJCOST) to partner on interdisciplinary research and innovation in emerging areas of Science and Technology such as Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Polymers, Speciality Materials, Nanotechnology, Energy Storage Solutions etc. This chair aims to promote academic and research activities in these areas and to conduct translational research resulting in new products and processes of commercial potential.
