Bureau of Indian Standards Chair

IIT Gandhinagar has setup a faculty chair through a donation by the Bureau of Indian Standards

The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), India's national standards body, has established a chair at IIT Gandhinagar to enhance research and development efforts in standardisation, conformity assessment, and quality assurance of goods, articles, processes, systems, and services. The BIS Chair will also support teaching and training in the field of Standardisation and Conformity Assessment in various fields of engineering and technology.
