IIT Gandhinagar Parking Instructions
| Following is the parking plan for the convocation day: | ||||
| CATEGORY OF VEHICLES | PARKING-PLACE | |||
| 1. For Guest/visitor's cars: | Solar Carport (shown as P1 in map). | |||
| 2. For Faculty & Staff Cars: | New parking area behind Academic Block 1 (near the fountain area) (shown as P2 in map). If above 1 & 2 areas are completely occupied - excess vehicles to be parked near temporary football ground (shown as P3 in map). | |||
| 3. Two Wheeler Parking: | In sheds of Academic Block 6 & 7 (shown as P4 in map). | |||
| 4. IITGn Hired Buses and HK/staff's Rikshaws: | New parking near Housing Block 30 (near the main gate) (not shown in map). | |||
| No parking is allowed on the following places: | ||||
| 1. ring/inner loop road (shown as R1 in map. | ||||
| 2. Behind academic blocks 5 & 6 and parcel areas (shown as R2 in map). | ||||
| 3. Inner loop road - WTP junction to WTP (shown as R3 in map). | ||||
| Note: All faculty and staff coming from housing blocks are requested to use ferry cab service, which will reduce parking problem. | ||||
